Food

The entire feeding process is automated and quantified according to growth parameters and zootechnical indexes. Electronic monitoring systems help avoid waste and maximize the rational use of feed.




Cleaning and maintenance

The tank farming system is controlled and operated by professional divers.




Transport

The farm is located approximately 15 minutes away from the cold storage facility and the fish are transported in isothermal boxes with oxygen monitoring systems. They are then placed in holding tanks where they are purged for 24 hours, before being sent to slaughter.

IQF technology allows us to freeze fillets before sale using an ultrafast freezing technique, ensuring the product’s quality and freshness.

Quality and wellness

The slaughtering process is carried out in accordance with animal welfare standards. The fish are first stunned in ice water and then bled. After slaughter, the fish undergo a mechanical descaling process. Fillets are then manually removed by a specialized team of filleters. After filleting, the skin is mechanically removed and the Trimming and Dressing sectors add the V-cut and remove the bones. Finally, the fillets are sorted by weight and packed.
